By renting storage space at Northgate Self Storage (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer”
or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a
legally binding agreement between you and Northgate Self Storage.
• Units are to be used solely for storing personal or business property.
• Hazardous materials, flammable substances, illegal items, live animals,
perishables, or firearms are strictly prohibited.
• You may not reside in or conduct business from the storage unit.
• Rental is on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise stated.
• Rent is due on the [1st] of each month. Late payments are subject to a late fee of
$[amount].
• We reserve the right to increase rent with [30]-day written notice.
• Facility access is granted during posted business hours.
• You are responsible for securing your unit with a lock.
• While we implement security measures, we are not liable for theft or damage.
• We do not provide insurance for stored items.
• You are strongly encouraged to obtain insurance coverage for your belongings.
• You may terminate this agreement by providing at least [10] days’ written notice
before your next billing cycle.
• We may terminate for non-payment or violation of these terms, with or without
notice.
• Failure to pay rent may result in a lien on your stored property under RCW 19.150
(Washington Self-Service Storage Facility Act).
• After the statutory period, your property may be sold at public auction.
We are not liable for damage, loss, or theft of any property stored at our facility, except to
the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in King County, Washington, under
Washington law.
